Credit Score Calculator

Have you ever been turned down for a credit card, an apartment, or even a job that you were sure you would get?

Maybe you should check your credit bureau file. Credit bureaus have a low public profile but their behind-the-scenes work can have an inordinate effect on your life.

The files contained in US's three credit bureaus contain detailed information about your credit history and habits - including information on your past payment record, bad debts and bankruptcies, if any. If you've ever participated in a debt repayment program, it's also noted.

This information is available to credit bureau members, like banks, retailers, landlords and employers, and can be the basis for refusing a purchase or lease. In most cases, you won't even know the basis for the refusal. That means it's essential to keep your credit record as clean as possible by paying your bills on time.

The Credit Score calculator below will give you a basic idea of what your credit report might look like given that you input the required information correctly.
